Ignasi Vidal
Ignasi Vidal (Barcelona, 1973), autor, director, músico, cantante y actor empezó su trayectoria artística muy joven, con su banda de rock A Media Distancia, hasta que sus estudios de interpretación con el maestro Carlos Lasarte le encaminaron hacia el mundo del teatro (donde se crió ya que su padre, Ignacio Vidal, fue un importante empresario teatral). Trabajará en el cine y en la TV pero es en el teatro y concretamente, en el Musical donde desarrolla gran parte de su carrera: Los Miserables, Rent, Jesucristo Superstar, Spamalot o La Bella y la Bestia son algunos de los musicales donde ha actuado. Es miembro fundador, junto a Isabel Vázquez y Gregor Acuña de la productora Teatral Excéntrica Producciones. Actualmente dedica todo su tiempo a su pasión, la dramaturgia, escribiendo como él dice, no para hacer sentir bien a la gente, ni siquiera para sentirse bien él. Escribe movilizado por una inquietud y deja que los personajes tengan su propio discurso tal y como ocurre en la vida....
Ignasi Vidal was born in Barcelona in 1973. He is a playwright, director, musician, singer and an actor. He was very young when he created A Media Distancia, his rock band, singing his own songs, but his acting studies with Carlos Lasarte will take him to the theatre world, where he grew up thanks to his father, Ignacio Vidal, a successful theater producer. He worked as an actor in cinema and TV, but it is in theater, mostly in musicals, where he will develop most of his career: Les Miserables, Rent, Jesus Christ Superstar, Spamalot or The Beauty and the Beast. He is a founding member of the company Excentrica Productions, together with Isabel Vázquez and Gregor Acuña. Now Ignasi dedicates most of his time to his passion, writing plays, with a very particular style. Ignasi says he writes not to make people feel good or even to make him feel good. When writing, he is mobilized by some anxiety, and he eventually lets the characters express their own feelings, like in the real life.
