«Llegué a la escritura por accidente. Supongo que como todo lo bueno que llega a mi vida. Por accidente tuve una vida nómada durante dos años, y por accidente, he ido descubriendo a las personas más importantes de mi vida. Mi madre también me tuvo a mí por accidente, así que viene en los genes. Mi psicóloga dice que hablo siempre como si modulara guiones, cuando llevo un rato hablando, me dice: Deja de hacer historias, Marta. Normalmente, me interrumpe en el cuarto acto. Y después me suelta un: ¿Cómo te sentiste? Solamente eso. Y qué queréis que os diga, a veces es complicado contar con palabras, solamente eso, como se siente una. Actress, director and playwright. Graduate in Acting from the Institut del Teatre. She completed her training in playwriting at various workshops at the Sala Beckett. As a playwright she has premiered Lamp Lady (2017), All the Days I Lied (Max 2020 Award for the Best New Author; runner-up for the Recvll Award of Blanes), Puzles (runner-up text for the Playwriting Tournament at the Temporada Alta Festival of 2018 and selected to represent Catalonia at the Transatlantic Tournament of Buenos Aires) and La Segona Eva (nominated for the Teatre Barcelona Awards as best show for small-format theatre 2021). In 2019 she received the Carme Monturiol grant from the ICUB for her play Narcisos. She has worked on various dramaturgical adaptations such as Es rifa un home by Rosa Maria Arquimbau (TNC), Al cel nos veurem tots plegats and Nit de reis by Shakespeare (Nominated to Max Award 2023 for the best Theatrical Adaptation). She has also produced audiovisual scripts for Vilafranca local TV and an adaptation of her play Puzles for TVE.
