Sinopsis Sabrina acaba de mudarse desde Madrid a un pequeño pueblo. Ha dejado su trabajo y sus amigos para acompañar a su marido en un traslado con el que promociona su carrera profesional. En el colegio, a donde acude cada día a llevar a su hija, conoce a Rosario, una mujer maltratada, tan asustada y anulada que es incapaz de denunciar, a pesar de las vejaciones continuas a las que la somete su pareja. Entablan amistad y, conforme se van conociendo, Sabrina empieza a cuestionarse la relación con su marido y su vida actual. Con esta obra, la autora intenta transmitir que la violencia de género se puede mostrar desnuda y demoledora como un puño cerrado o estar encubierta por el sutil velo de un amor falso.

Synopsis Sabrina has just moved from Madrid to a small village. She has left her job and her friends to accompany her husband on a move that will boost his career. At the school where she takes her daughter every day, she meets Rosario, a victim of domestic abuse who is so frightened and diminished that she cannot bring herself to report it, despite the repeated cruelty she suffers at the hands of her partner. They strike up a friendship and, as they get to know one another, Sabrina begins to question her own relationship with her husband and her current life. In this play, the author attempts to show how domestic abuse can be as barefaced and crushing as a clenched fist, or hidden by a subtle veil of false love.
