Una compañía de cómicos del alto Medievo participa en la representación de una especie de auto de fe, mezclando arte teatral y vida. Las situaciones límite a que se someten los cómicos dentro de la parte que representan en este auto de fe les hace tomar conciencia de la España del momento. Se mezclan los estilos de teatro medieval con las nuevas corrientes teatrales más concienciadas en una nueva sociedad.
A comedy troupe of the Upper Middle Ages participates in the representation of an auto-da-fé, mixing theatrical art and life. The extreme situations to which the comedians are subjected within the role they represent in this auto-da-fé makes them aware of the situation of Spain at that moment. The styles of medieval theater are mixed with the new theatrical currents that are more aware of what is going on in the new society.
