Sinopsis La manada es un viaje a la carnalidad más primitiva y a uno de los mayores tabúes. Tres vidas jóvenes, contenidas en el páramo del desierto del Karoo, llenas de deseos carnales y de rencores del pasado. Una familia, que constituye una especie en sí misma, sobreviviendo en un medio hostil, luchando con lo único que tiene: mentiras y medias verdades, destinadas a vencer a los otros y a sostenerse en pie. Una familia de la generación blanca post-Apartheid, que lame sus propias heridas, y trae hasta el presente los vicios de aquel régimen racista y su lógica de violencia y dominación. La inesperada visita de la hermana menor a la granja familiar pondrá en jaque los cimientos de unas relaciones afectivas altamente tóxicas, que fueron alimentadas a base de disciplina, rezo calvinista y ausencia de afecto.

Synopsis The Pack is a journey to lust at its most primitive and to one of the greatest taboos. Three young lives, trapped in the wastelands of the Karoo Desert, filled with carnal desires and the bitterness of the past. One family, a whole species in of itself, surviving in a hostile environment, fighting with the only thing it has: lies and half-truths, designed to defeat others and keep themselves standing. A family from the white, post-apartheid generation, who lick their own wounds and bring into the present the vices of that racist regime and its logic of violence and domination. An unexpected visit from a younger sister to the family farm will challenge the foundations of some highly toxic family relationships founded on discipline, Calvinist prayer and an absence of affection.
