No Paper is a window. A new house. Long time, no see. Two sisters share one passion: words. Julia is, or was, a successful writer. Clara is, or was, a journalist specialised in war reporting. They each look for work, for their place in the world, for their role. They meet again, confront each other, remember each other, need each other, admire each other, criticise each other, break each other, laugh at each other, acknowledge each other. One decision taken; one still left to take. No Paper is a little piece of the story of two women approaching 50: independent, brave, intelligent, sad, happy, and poetic. They do not fear change. They defend their personal dignity in the personal, professional and political realms. They are prepared to lose everything except that: their dignity. But moreover, No Paper is the fragments of the real-life stories of two actors who, by telling personal stories about themselves, expose themselves to the audience in an exercise of emotional pornography with no safety net. Between reality and fiction: there is no paper; there are people. A poetic comedy.
