Sinopsis En febrero del 2016 apuntaba en mi diario: “Hoy me he despertado pensando en suicidarme”. En julio del 2018 apunté “Hoy estoy feliz. La felicidad es un cosquilleo suave en la parte alta del estómago y el pecho”. Entre estas dos anotaciones viví un proceso de psicoanálisis y cambio personal en el que pasé de ser una persona depresiva y con fobia social a ser una persona feliz que vive el presente sin miedo. Este trayecto desde la autocompasión y el egoísmo hasta el perdón y el amor es que lo narro en mi obra “Tu viaje del héroe” Una obra de autoficción en la que me alejo del narcisismo y la exhibición y pongo sobre el papel mi parte más íntima y vulnerable, Esa parte sensible y delicada, que todos tenemos en común y todos nos esforzamos en ocultar, es la que expongo en el escenario en “Tu viaje del héroe”.

Synopsis In February 2016, I wrote in my diary, ‘Today I woke up thinking about killing myself’. In July 2018, I wrote, ‘Today I’m happy. Happiness is a gentle tickle in the upper part of the stomach and chest’. Between those two diary entries, I went through a process of psychoanalysis and personal change that took me from being a depressive person with social anxiety disorder to being a happy person who lives fearlessly in the present. This journey from self-pity and selfishness towards love and forgiveness is the story I tell in my play Your Hero’s Journey. In this work of fictionalised autobiography, I leave narcissism and showing-off behind and put down on paper the most intimate and vulnerable parts of myself. In Your Hero’s Journey, I put that fragile, sensitive side, the one we all have in common and all try so hard to keep hidden, onto the stage.
