Almudena Ramírez Pantanella
Dramaturga, guionista y directora de teatro. Licenciada en Comunicación Audiovisual y Cinematografía, cursa posteriormente el Máster en Creación Teatral de la UC3M. En 2015 recibe el Premio Nacional de teatro Calderón de la Barca por “Los amos del mundo”, exhibida en España, Inglaterra y Argentina. Forma parte del V Programa de Desarrollo de Dramaturgias Actuales del INAEM con la obra “Regurgitar”. Ha participado como dramaturga residente en el Centro nacional francés La Chartreuse de Villeneuve Lez Avignon donde comenzó a escribir “Quirófano”, obra estrenada en el Centro Dramático Nacional dentro del programa de Escritos en la escena. Ha sido seleccionada por el Royal Court Theatre de Londres para participar en la residencia internacional de verano donde terminó de escribir la obra “Golpe de gracia.” Como guionista, ha trabajado entre otras, en la serie de Netflix “La casa de papel”. Compagina estas actividades impartiendo seminarios en la universidad.
Almudena Ramírez-Pantanella is a playwright, screenwriter and stage director. In 2015 she received the Spanish National Prize Calderón de la Barca for emerging playwrights for the play "Los amos del mundo", staged and read in Spain, England and Argentina. She wrote "Regurgitar" for the Spanish National Institute of the Dramatic Arts and Music and has taken part in several artist-in-residence programmes in France at the National Centre for Performing Arts Writing ‘La Chartreuse’ in Villeneuve Lez Avignon and, in England, at London's Royal Court Theatre. Her plays have been published, staged and produced. Her last play "Quirófano" premiered at the National Drama Centre in Spain. As a screenwriter she has worked, among others, for Netflix show "La casa de papel" ("Money heist"). She combines this activities with teaching at University.
