Julio Salvatierra Cuenca
Guionista, autor y productor de teatro desde 1992, y de cine desde 2008. Su labor dramática cuenta con más de 30 textos estrenados en 15 países, y más de 3500 funciones realizadas. Cuenta con traducciones al francés, portugués, gallego y euskera. Destaca el premio Ojo Crítico de Teatro, de RNE; el premio Nacional de teatro en Portugal, así como diversas nominaciones a los premios Max. En cine su joven productora ya ha realizado varios trabajos multipremiados (nominado a los Goya al mejor corto de Ficción 2012, Biznaga del Plata en el Festival de Málaga por su documental Madres 0'15 el minuto) y acaba de estrenar su primer largometraje, protagonizado por Carmen Machi, Teréle Pávez y Asier Etxeandía. En 1992 funda y codirige Meridional Producciones. Miembro fundador de la Academia de las Artes Escénicas de España, en la actualidad simultanéa el trabajo creativo con la docencia como Profesor Titular de Dramaturgia en Scaena-Carmen Roche, en el Grado Superior de Teatro Musical

He has written more than 30 plays and theatrical adaptations, released in 15 countries, with more than 3500 performances. Some translated into the French, Portuguese, Galician and Basque. Awarded with Critical Eye of Theatre, of the National Radio Broadcasting corporation; the Teatrical National award in Portugal, as well as diverse nominations to the Max awards. In cinema his young company has already produced several multiwinning works (nominated to the Goya to the best short of Fiction 2012, Biznaga of the Plata in the Festival of Malaga for his documentary "Mothers 0 ' 15 the minute") and there has just premiered his first full-lenght film led by Carmen Machi, Teréle Pávez and Asier Etxeandía. In 1992 founds Meridional Production, co-directing it till now. Charter member of the Academy of the Scenic Arts of Spain, at present simultanéa the creative work with teaching of Dramaturgy in Scaena-Carmen Roche, in the Upper Degree of Interpretation in Musical Theatre.
