Nieves Rodríguez Rodríguez

Nieves Rodríguez Rodríguez (Madrid, 1983) es dramaturga e investigadora en la Compañía Txanka Kua (Laboratorio para nuevos lenguajes tecnológicos) de Málaga. Y profesora de Escritura y Literatura en la Escuela Internacional del Gesto en Madrid. Ha estudiado Dramaturgia en la RESAD, un Máster en Escritura Creativa en la UCM y un Máster en Filosofía Teórica y Práctica en la UNED. Es miembro del Consejo de Redacción de Primer Acto (Cuadernos de investigación teatral) y Vocal de la Asociación de Autoras y Autores de Teatro.

Born in Madrid in 1983, Nieves Rodríguez Rodríguez is a playwright and researcher with the Txanka Kua theatre company, a Malaga-based workshop for new technological languages. She also teaches writing and literature at the Madrid International School of Gesture. She trained as a playwright at the RESAD (the Spanish Royal Academy of Dramatic Art), holds an MA in Creative Writing from the Complutense University of Madrid, and an MA in Theoretical and Practical Philosophy from UNED (the National Distance-Learning University). She is a member of the editorial board of the theatre research journal Primer Acto, and spokesperson for the AAT (the Spanish Playwrights Association).
