ANATOMÍA DE UN CONEJO HEMBRA
ANATOMY OF A FEMALE RABBIT
In this text everything is a continuous surprise. Start with the title. Why a female rabbit instead of a doe? The author is interested in the word "female" to establish the similarities and differences between the way of life of animals and women. Similarly, this "anatomy" goes beyond the dissection of body parts, questioning the social function of the female gender. The construction of the character on stage is very interesting and highly theatrical, that woman who dreams that she is a female rabbit and vice versa; as well as the protagonist's scathing criticism of the traditional Italian theater, of which, after all, she is part of it. Work with echoes of Cortazar and Pirandello. In short, a critique of contemporary society that cannot escape its routine.
