Synopsis Mattress is the story of a couple, told from their first meeting to their separation. Mattress shows how words dance in the body, imprisoning or liberating it. Mattress bears witness to how the body searches for words, rejects them, or ignores them. Mattress is an exploration of the various emotional stages experienced by two characters who fall in love, live together, cheat each other and remember each other. At each of these stages, the importance of politics varies. At each of these stages, the importance of poetry varies.
