Dora Draws Seashells
Between fantasies and dreams, two children tell everyday stories from their respective worlds, very different to normal family life. Dora’s life is very different to Pablo’s. As we watch the avatars of both children in and around a play area in a park in any town or city, another, almost imaginary character, Maya arrives. As they adventure with Maya, their characters grow. Dora Draws Seashells discusses child abuse, loneliness and freedom, and how when you are a child, escaping from the most difficult circumstances can be impossible.
