La Casa de Bernarda Alba- Adaptación.
The House of Bernarda Alba
Bernarda, a mature and still good-looking woman, lives surrounded by women: two daughters (one of them a divorcee who returns to Bernarda’s home with her child), an adopted daughter from China, a housekeeper, her father’s lover… As they each try to take advantage of her and her money, Bernarda takes a fancy to the gas delivery man, a tall, blonde, handsome Pole, and invites him to an intimate dinner. When the other women find out, they try to trick her, telling her that a relative who lives far out of town has suddenly been taken ill. The Pole arrives and is besieged by each of them. Not having swallowed the story for a second, Bernarda returns unexpectedly, and catches the women in fraganti.
