Nostalgia del mar
Nostalgia for the Sea
Marina is relaxing beside the sea, remembering her younger days. Happily, she enjoys this moment with carefree excitement, even joking with a young man who appears there, telling him the love story she lived through with her husband to whom, according to her, the young man bears a surprising resemblance. Little by little we discover, as does she, that she is one of the victims of the Madrid terrorist attacks of May 2004, and is in fact in hospital in a coma. Her son and daughter sit at her bedside, worried, and furthermore having only lost their father a few months ago. The events of Marina’s life will begin to unfurl simultaneously, until finally we learn the truth.
