Monólogo masculino. Habla de un desfalco y de un pecador. Pero Matías Orozco no es un héroe-villano de Gescartera ni sus pecados son tan abultados. Esta es la pequeña tragicomedia de un hombre anónimo que hace su peculiar recorrido por los pecados capitales. La génesis de este texto fue muy curiosa. El título me asaltó una noche, de repente, al volver a casa y contemplar al mendigo de la puerta del «Seven Eleven». Un título prometedor, me dije. Al día siguiente lo escribí en el ordenador con grandes letras y lo imprimí. Y ahí estuvo guardado en una carpeta durante meses, título huérfano aguardando su historia. Hasta que otra noche, casi un año después, volví a tener otro asalto. Esta vez fue el propio personaje, quien me interpeló con su verborrea canalla y desvergonzada. En un par de días el texto estaba escrito. Los procesos son así de caprichosos. Cada historia aguarda su momento para ser contada. Entonces y sólo entonces se lanza sobre ti y te avasalla exigiendo que despiertes su cuerpo y su voz dormidos.

This is the little tragicomedy of an anonymous man who makes his peculiar journey through the capital sins. The genesis of this text was very curious. The title struck me one night, suddenly, as I returned home and looked at the beggar at the door of the "Seven Eleven." A promising title, I told myself. The next day I wrote it in large letters on the computer and printed it out. And there it was kept in a folder for months, an orphan title awaiting its history. Until another night, almost a year later, I had another assault. This time it was the character himself, who appealed to me with his roguish and shameless verbiage. In a couple of days the text was written. The processes are that whimsical. Each story awaits its moment to be told. Then and only then does he pounce on you and overwhelm you demanding that you awaken his sleeping body and his voice.
