El nudo de Alejandro
Alexander's knot
They say that Alexander the Great, before building his enormous empire, defied an old prophecy: he who undid an intricate knot on a plow would emerge as master of Asia (no one had been capable of the patience and skill of his hands). The young Greek, neither quick nor lazy, unsheathed and “undid” the knot, and the problem, in one fell swoop.
